Boca Nuclear Medicine Scanning is offered at our offices at Medical Diagnostic Scans. We offer our patients this service to diagnose and prevent any major medical emergency in the future. During the procedure a camera is used to take pictures of radioactivity, following a radioactive tracer substance that is injected into the patient. Our certified doctor, Dr. N. Henry Pevsner and his staff, use the tracer substance to see if there is any normal or abnormal activity within the specified organs: brain, liver, heart, and blood supply to the heart. We are also here to do any detailed work or take requests that your referring physician might want to look into that may be causing you discomfort or pain.
Our staff at Medical Diagnostic Scans are proud to be staffed with exceptionally trained technicians who are always here to administer any tests you may need, in order to obtain all information that may be required by your doctor. We are here to find out what may be causing you pain or discomfort. Procedures such as Boca Nuclear Medicine Scanning are literally painless, except for a small needle that will be injected into a vein. Throughout the many years we have been in service, we have not had any serious allergic reactions that have caused any life-threatening emergencies. When our patients arrive, they are welcome by our gracious staff and before you know it, your procedure is completed.
