Boca Raton Cardiac Stress Test - Medical Nuclear Imaging

A Boca Raton Cardiac Stress Test is generally ordered at the request of your physician. Our board certified staff, here at Medical Diagnostic Scan, will use the exam to learn how well your heart functions during physical activity. The stress test is also used to measure the amount of blood flowing to the heart, as well as locating any areas where the heart has been damaged. As a cardiological exam, this test will measure your heart's ability to respond to stress, while in a controlled medical environment. We have found that the stress response is induced by exercise or drug stimulation. Your test will be conducted by Dr. N. Henry Pevsner, or one of his trained technicians. You will learn so much about your heart from the test and will finally have the answers to some of your growing medical concerns.

The Boca Raton Cardiac Stress Test is one of our specialties here at the Medical Diagnostic Scans. During the stress test, exercise increases the blood flowing in the heart. We administer an injection of a radioactive isotope "tracer" that goes to the heart muscle. This allows us to obtain images that show areas in your heart that lacks blood flow, primarily when comparing it to your resting heart. Our medical staff is fully committed to offering you a specialized experience that you will not gain at any other facility. Our state of the art and advanced equipment, allows us to take a more detailed look at what may be causing you pain or discomfort. Additionally, we will work directly with your physician to offer our advice, as well as your diagnosis. We are the ideal medical testing facility for you.

Doctors use exercise stress tests to find out:
