Boynton Beach Eco Scan is one of the tools at Medical Diagnostic Scans that we use to diagnose our patients. An Eco scan may be advised for various reasons. You could be recommended for a Eco scan to check how well your heart is doing after a heart attack, or it could also be used to check the valves inside your heart. An echo cardiogram can also allow you and your doctor to see if any fluid has collected around you heart. Images are taken from an ultrasound/sonar. This is done when a probe is placed over the heart, showing the shape, size and motion of the heart. When doing this, we can usually get a better understanding of your problem and diagnose it.
In order to give the best Boynton Beach Eco Scan, our medical team is led by board certified doctor, Dr. N. Henry Pevsner. Dr. Pevsner is well versed in everything regarding the heart. The Eco scan procedure is almost painless, with the exception of an injection of a small needle in your vein. The patient is required to lie on a table during the exam, which is about 20-40 minutes. The Eco scan’s job is to determine what is causing you your discomfort or pain. As our staff is knowledgeable and courteous, we are here to answer any questions or speak about any concerns that you may have. Our staff is here to make you as comfortable as possible.
